Solutions
Eight Solutions. Two markets. One operational standard.
Across eight solutions, Acron’s businesses engineer the hardware, software, and services that aerospace, defense, and rescue operators depend on. What connects them is the operational standard underneath: certifications earned to the same regulatory bar, software services that thread through every technology, and a quality discipline applied identically whether the system flies a transport aircraft or rides on a warfighter’s chest. These solutions compound across the group. Earn a credential in one market, apply the same discipline in the next. Every one of them is built to create safer skies and protect lives.

MARKET 01
Aerospace Solutions
Four forces are reshaping commercial aerospace simultaneously: regulatory mandates that turn safety from event-driven to continuous (GADSS, FOQA, FDM, ADS-B); satellite communications becoming the connective tissue between aircraft and ground; the analytics layer turning every flight into safety insight, predictive maintenance, and regulatory documentation; and the software services layer that turns certified hardware into ongoing operational value. Across aerospace, Acron’s businesses engineer the hardware those mandates demand, the satellite networks that move the data, the analytics platforms that turn the data into decisions, and the software layer that extends across the group. Four solutions sit beneath the market.
Avionics & Airspace Awareness
GADSS, ADS-B, 5G interference: three certification regimes reshaping the avionics market simultaneously.
The Pressure
- GADSS continuous-tracking and 25-hour cockpit voice and flight data recording mandates are reshaping the recorder market.
- ADS-B Out / In surveillance is now baseline across most controlled airspace.
- 5G interference is forcing radar altimeter replacement cycles that didn’t exist five years ago.
- Aging fleets need retrofit; military rotorcraft are recapitalizing.
What We Build
Acron’s avionics businesses engineer the hardware that earns those certifications:
- 25-hour Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorders
- ADS-B In/Out transponders and surveillance systems
- Terrain-awareness radar altimeters with 5G interference mitigation
- Modular flight data acquisition
- SBAS/GNSS receivers and enhanced flight vision components
- Certified flight displays and navigation systems
For commercial, business, rotorcraft, and military aviation operators worldwide.
Services Layer
A 25-Hour CVFDR isn’t just a black box for the worst day — it’s a continuous safety instrument for every day before it.
Avionics hardware is the entry point. Recorders generate cockpit voice and flight data feeds; surveillance systems generate ADS-B position streams; flight data acquisition units feed continuous post-flight analysis. The services layer above the hardware turns those streams into FDM/FOQA compliance, FDR/CVR readout, predictive maintenance, regulator-ready audit trails, and operational dashboards.

Software-Enabled Services
Flight data analytics, video intelligence, subscription tracking: the recurring layer that turns certified installed hardware into ongoing operational value.
The Pressure
- Analytics platforms that turn multi source flight data into actionable safety, operational, and maintenance insight are becoming as critical to airline operations as the aircraft systems generating the data in the first place.
- Every recorder, transponder, and acquisition unit generates more data than the tools designed to make sense of it can handle.
- Continuous safety monitoring, predictive maintenance analytics, regulatory compliance services, and subscription-based flight data analysis aren’t features bolted onto hardware — they’re what operators and regulators are buying.
What We Build
Proprietary software and algorithms that deploy into hardware customers already own — ours or theirs:
- Flight data analytics platforms (FDM/FOQA)
- Real-time fleet and personnel tracking services

MARKET 02
Defense & Rescue Technologies
Across defense and rescue, the cost of a system not working is measured in lives. The four solutions below build for the conditions where ordinary systems aren’t enough: contested surveillance environments, GPS-denied and RF-contested theaters, congested and signal-denied wireless spectrum, and the moments where every other system has failed and a single beacon is all that’s left.
Advanced Image Processing & Edge Analytics
Counter-UAS, edge AI, bandwidth-constrained covert operations. The three pressures reshaping how image processing gets done.
The Pressure

Positioning, Navigation, and Timing
In every theater that matters, GPS is being jammed, spoofed, or denied. The technology that lets warfighters operate without it is no longer optional.
The Pressure
- Documented GPS jamming and spoofing across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific have moved assured PNT from contingency to baseline requirement.
- U.S. Army Assured PNT modernization Programs of Record are in active rollout.
- DAGR replacement and M-Code GPS deployment across U.S. and allied forces drive multi-year demand.
- Autonomous and uncrewed systems require resilient PNT by definition.
What We Build
Assured-positioning systems for the warfighter, the maritime operator, and the autonomous platform:
- Dismounted assured PNT for warfighters — including the U.S. Army Program of Record under a $402M IDIQ contract integrating M-Code GPS, inertial sensors, and non-GPS PNT

Rescue & Distress Alerting
When every other system has failed, a beacon is what brings someone home. The technology has to work the first time, every time, anywhere on Earth.
The Pressure
- Cospas-Sarsat 406 MHz beacon registration and carriage requirements apply globally.
- IMO and SOLAS maritime distress carriage mandates govern commercial and recreational maritime markets.
- FAA Part-NCO and EASA regulations require ELT or PLB carriage on light aircraft.
- AIS integration and Return Link Service adoption are reshaping how distress confirmation works in practice.

Resilient Connectivity
Adopted by the U.S. government as the wireless standard for contested environments: congested spectrum, electronic warfare, and places conventional signals can’t reach.
The Pressure
- Congested RF spectrum in dense operational environments is degrading conventional wireless links.
- Adversary electronic warfare is more capable every year. Signal survivability is now a mission requirement, not a feature.
- Consumer wireless standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) were never engineered to carry classified data in contested environments.
- New defense systems joining the network must interoperate with what’s already deployed — without breaking certification, latency, or bandwidth guarantees.
What We Build
The wireless technologies that carry classified data through contested and congested environments:
- Ultra-wideband (UWB) chipsets and modules for high-bandwidth wireless in contested spectrum
- NSA- and NIST-certified modules supporting classified data transmission
- Real-time video, sensor data, and augmented-reality overlay support
- Reference designs, SDKs, and evaluation kits for defense integrators
- Custom hardware and software development, system engineering, and manufacturing support
- Support for Programs of Record including IVAS, NGSW-FC, FWS-I, ENVG-B, and SBMC
Deployed across U.S. armed services and with allied forces including the Netherlands, UAE, and UK — embedded in soldier systems where wireless survival is a mission requirement.
Services Layer
The chipset is the entry point. The standard is the defensible position.
Wireless hardware feeds a defense communications services layer — reference designs and integration support for OEMs, protocol development that keeps deployed systems interoperable with new ones, and certification-path support (NSA, NIST FIPS 140-2) that clears the highest defense compliance bars. Alereon co-owns the government-adopted Intra-Soldier Wireless (ISW) specification with CERDEC Labs at Aberdeen Proving Ground, and every new soldier-system OEM builds to that specification. Operating across 3–10 GHz with 29 channels, up to 350 Mbps guaranteed bandwidth, and a built-in jammer sniffer that moves the link in real time without interrupting connectivity — ISW is the wireless the government reaches for when the environment is contested and the data has to get through.
